La Casa - The Farmhouse
The two-story farmhouse is in very good condition. Built entirely in stone, the façade of the building has been plastered, but this could easliy be removed to return the house to its original rustic look. The interior of the house is in typical rustic style.
The house is ready to move-in. All of the rooms are in very good condition, and are not in need of any major repair or rennovation (the owners currently reside in the house).
On the ground floor, the main entrance opens onto a corridor that gives access to all of the rooms on this floor as well as the stairs leading to the upper floor.
There are four rooms at ground level: the dining room, the kitchen, and two bedrooms. The bathroom, with full bath and shower, and a utility closet make up the rest of the ground floor.
The upper floor consists of two large bedrooms. This floor could be enlarged to create additional living space by raising the part of the structure above the kitchen to two levels.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden which offers a spectacular view of Monte Amiata, the Val d'Orcia and the countryside of the Upper Maremma.
